WINTER PRINTMAKING WORKSHOPS 2016
HAND PRINTED CARDS FOR ANY OCCASION
Hand print cards using variety of printing techniques such as lino cut, Styrofoam, stencil and nature prints.  You will take home an edition of 10 cards plus envelopes.  In this workshop you will learn how to print cards at home.

In this colourful fun filled art program students will unravel their imagination!  Each day they will create  one of a kind "masterpiece".  All young artists in training will have an opportunity to explore drawing, painting, sketching outside through variety of medium such as acrylic paints, printmaking, pastels, sculpture and mixed media.
*Some of the classes might take place outside so students should bring a hat and as well, a small snack.  Dress appropriately for an art class!!!  Bring a smock or wear old clothing. Students will receive their own sketchbooks.

Spring Printmaking Workshops 2014

Fresh off the press Spring Printmaking Workshops with Sarka are back by popular demand!!  If you have not had the chance to take some of my printmaking workshops here is your chance to use a real printing press and unleash your creative side.!!

Saturday, May 24, 10:30am - 1pm

Intaglio / Drypoint

Incise into an aluminum plate using a printmaking needle.  Once your image is incised learn how to ink the plate and the run it through the press thus printing your very first drypoint. In this workshop you will be able to print more then one print.

Fee:     $45 (all materials included)


Saturday, May 31, 10:30am - 1pm

Waterbased Monoprints

Print one of a kind monoprint using watercolours , water-soluble crayons & pencil crayons, chalk pastels, and dishwashing soap.  You will be painting on a plastic plate that will be printed on a printing press.  If you love to play with colours and see the surprising effect of watercolours printed on paper then this is the class for you!!

Fee:     $40 (all materials included)

Where:     Sarka's Studio at 132 Bestview Dr. Toronto (South of Steeles Ave., West of 404 North and East of Bayview Ave.)

** Classes are opened to both adults and children. (min. age is 7yrs. old)
