Spring Printmaking Workshops 2014
Fresh off the press Spring Printmaking Workshops with Sarka are back by popular demand!! If you have not had the chance to take some of my printmaking workshops here is your chance to use a real printing press and unleash your creative side.!!
Saturday, May 24, 10:30am - 1pm
Intaglio / Drypoint
Incise into an aluminum plate using a printmaking needle. Once your image is incised learn how to ink the plate and the run it through the press thus printing your very first drypoint. In this workshop you will be able to print more then one print.

Saturday, May 31, 10:30am - 1pm
Waterbased Monoprints
Print one of a kind monoprint using watercolours , water-soluble crayons & pencil crayons, chalk pastels, and dishwashing soap. You will be painting on a plastic plate that will be printed on a printing press. If you love to play with colours and see the surprising effect of watercolours printed on paper then this is the class for you!!
Fee: $40 (all materials included)
Where: Sarka's Studio at 132 Bestview Dr. Toronto (South of Steeles Ave., West of 404 North and East of Bayview Ave.)
** Classes are opened to both adults and children. (min. age is 7yrs. old)
